I’m Sorry Please Forgive Me

My song for you this week is called “I’m Sorry Please Forgive Me.”  Doing a shout out to Rick Lingard for helping me get me a little more snazzed and pizzazzed on my recording software.  I had fun playing in Logic with effects on the vocals.  And I’m excited to record new songs this winter!

If you are new to my email list, welcome!  This email list is called “Song In Your Inbox.”  You can go and listen here to all the songs in my Soundcloud song collection anytime. 🙂

I use the Ho-oponopono words as the chorus in this song:

“I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you.”

Ho-oponopono, as developed by Hew Len is a practice to bring harmony where it is needed to a person, situation or relationship.

Much love and another song soon,
Zoey

I’m Sorry Please Forgive Me

I was holding back the tide
Biding my time
I was living in a dream
Trying to be kind

I was scared to say my name
For the fear that I would stray
Beyond the circle of the fire
And what was safe

CHORUS:  I’m sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
I love you

We all know that life is short
And sometimes it hurts
To be the lover and the seer
For what it’s worth

I would never choose to harm
But now I must be strong
To walk the journey in my body
And in my heart

CHORUS

And no one is to blame
For the shadows at play
I’ll do my best and you do yours
That’s all we can guage

I will take care of myself
And be someone to love
My arms are open always hoping
That it’s enough

CHORUS

Now I must go
But I know you’ll find your way
To your heart, it’s the place
The only place to start
