Zoey writes lyrics from the heart, touching upon the universal within the personal through storytelling, candid self-reflection, and life-gathered wisdom.

As a sound shaman and creative voyager, Zoey explores themes of love, connection with nature, and feminism. Her two CDs, Make Me a River and Light on the Water have been featured in audio and video productions, online meditations, coaching programs, and independent films.

Zoey has performed at coffeehouses, songwriter showcases, house concerts, book launches, and fundraisers throughout British Columbia. She was thrilled to sing and lead song circles for the Earth Daughters Festival 2024 which gleaned 500 participants. She has also performed at the Vancouver Psychic Expo during Deepak Chopra’s keynote speech. She is known to perform at seniors’ residences, hospital settings, art galleries, and bookstores. She sang original music and taught sound healing at Banyen Books in Vancouver in 2010 and at Gaia Rising in Nelson. She has led chant events at yoga studios throughout Vancouver and at Shanti Yoga in Nelson. She sang for the Worldwide Dolphin Protest at the Japanese Embassy in 2005 and for the Power of You Benefit Conference for Darfur, Africa in Whistler in 2005.

When Zoey began leading women’s song circles in Port Moody, BC in 2014, it kindled a deep love of a cappella music, group harmony, and world chant.  She was inspired to watch how quickly the song circle grew and deeply enriched this suburban community with more than 200 women being brought together over 4 years. She has since been leading Sisters in Harmony British Columbia in Nelson, Vancouver, Victoria and online, while writing original songs specifically for song circle groups and community workshops.  Zoey teaches for the global Sisters In Harmony organization, developed and led by Heather Houston.

As a space holder and sound healer, Zoey brings large groups into harmony and unity-consciousness through song.  She helps individuals and groups lift their vibration, circulate spiritual energy, and change their lives!  Check out the Services page to learn more.
