Zohana’s original music has been called “soulful, uplifting, rootsy and deep.” She writes from her heart and tells it like it is. Coming from rich and raw life experience, this is honest, feminine, and awakening music that leaves the listener both nourished and longing for more. Zohana writes about love, heartbreak, loss, hope, the beauty of nature, and the shared journey home.
Writing music since the age of 4, from day one, Zohana’s piano teacher declared her a songwriter and began logging her creations. Studying music throughout high school, Zohana continued on to complete a Bachelor of Music from McGill University. From here, she pursued jazz training at Vancouver Community College. From 1998-2014 she taught music workshops and private piano and voice.
In 2002, Zohana studied sound healing with Simon Heather from the UK. Adding this to Reiki Mastery and Yoga Teacher Training, she began playing music for spiritual events, centers, and conferences. Her two CDs, Make Me a River and Light on the Water were featured in audio and video productions, online meditations, coaching programs, and independent films.
In 2014, Zohana trained to be a song circle leader with Heather Houston in California. Over the next decade, while working in the field of coaching, feminine empowerment, and trauma resolution, she led many women’s circles and honed her vocals and songwriting. In June 2024, Zohana led large groups of women at the Earth Daughters Festival in Golden, BC. She also performed for and led a crowd of 500 participants from stage at the New Human Retreat with Dr. Kevin Preston in October 2024. She currently teaches workshops and song circles throughout British Columbia.

Zohana performs at festivals, retreats, conferences, and house concerts.
Helping others to heal and grow, she offers 1-1 sessions in vocal meditation, voice healing, and sound healing.
Zohana is currently working on two new albums and a book of original poetry, set to launch on Amazon in 2025.
